Cape Cod, Massachusetts

August 25 – September 1, 2020

A week in the Cape Cod area gave us lots of time to explore the area. Our base was in Hyannis, MA. We started our trip at the Kennedy Museum in Hyannis where the girls got a great history lesson about the Kennedy family, specifically John and Jackie. We did a quick drive by the Kennedy compound where you can basically see nothing but still a must do. We took the ferry 2 different days. One day to Martha’s Vineyard and one day to Nantucket. On both islands we rented bikes for our mode of transportation. The girls jumped off the the bridge in Martha’s Vineyard made famous in the Jaws movie. On both islands we enjoyed bike riding and just taking in what each had to offer including delicious ice cream. We visited a glass blowing museum in Sandwich, MA, we whale watched off the coast of Provincetown, drove through Chatham, visited some lighthouses and trail walked in Cape Cod National Sea Shore.
